Where do you need us? Generator O&M and EPC handover, from one accountable team.

Our Manifesto

Who we are

Diesel Generator Service treats planned maintenance schedules, remote monitoring habits, and spare-parts logistics as the foundation for AI gas turbines. Powering Projects with Reliability and Possibility means keeping those habits while the fleet evolves into gas turbine generators. Extreme Ownership already lives in good diesel O&M; it must be rewritten for fuel gas, turbine inspections, and different outage calendars without losing the discipline that already works.

Bearing cages, soft feet, misaligned couplings, and loose skids announce themselves as vibration long before oil pressure collapses. USP&E folds vibration monitoring into diesel generator service as Extreme Ownership evidence — route data and continuous sensors feeding SmartPower exceptions and UpKeep work orders, not a once-a-year consultant PDF that nobody owns.

How we work

One partner. Complete accountability.

Owners do not need fifty dashboard tiles. They need a short, auditable set of diesel generator service KPIs that prove Extreme Ownership: availability and start reliability, exception closure, PM attainment, chemistry and vibration flags, ATS transfer proofs, and spares readiness — reported in language boards can read. USP&E builds that buyer-guide stack inside O&M, not as a vanity BI project.

What we bring

Not a broker. One accountable EPC & O&M team.

Consider a mid-speed diesel on industrial baseload. Weekly SmartPower review shows nothing dramatic yet — exhaust spreads are within historical noise. The portable route, however, shows a stepping 1× component at the generator inboard bearing across three consecutive measurements while oil pressure remains acceptable. Under Extreme Ownership the unit is not “fine until it trips.” UpKeep opens an alignment and soft-foot work order inside the next allowed outage window; coupling hardware and shims are reserved through the spares hub. Correction restores the baseline. The plant avoids an unplanned bearing event during a production campaign. That is the proof loop vibration monitoring is for — spectra leading the calendar, not chasing it.

The operating problem is simple and expensive: diesel work that should have been planned becomes an emergency because nobody owned the outage calendar. Injector kits, coolant flushes, coupling alignments, ATS contact inspections, and load-bank proofs all compete for the same scarce windows. USP&E treats outage window planning as Extreme Ownership scheduling inside diesel generator service — not a polite suggestion emailed the week before peak.

We are brand agnostic. We source, deploy and maintain the right OEM technology for every project.

FAQ
What does Diesel Generator Service focus on?

Diesel Generator Service focuses on generator O&M and EPC handover. EPC-to-O&M handover and Extreme Ownership service — evidence over brokers.

Why carry diesel spares habits into GT O&M?

USP&E builds on diesel spares habits because the discipline is identical: know what fails, stock it before it fails and track every movement in the CMMS. Turbine parts often have longer lead times and fewer sources, so the habits your team already has become even more valuable.

What spares matter for a remanufactured GE Frame 6B?

USP&E recommends stocking combustion inspection parts, fuel nozzles, igniters, filters, key instrumentation and control cards for a remanufactured GE Frame 6B. The exact list should follow the remanufacture parts record and your duty cycle, with insurance spares held for components that would cause a long forced outage.

Do natural gas engines share diesel stores?

USP&E often lets natural gas engines share stores, tooling and technicians with diesel fleets because many consumables and skills overlap. Spark plugs, gas valves and ignition parts still need their own bins and reorder points, and every item should be tracked separately in the CMMS.

What should GT O&M inherit from diesel service?

USP&E carries over CMMS discipline, failure tracking, consumption-based reorder points, stores audits and a culture of planned maintenance. Turbine O&M then adds borescope inspections, combustion inspections and condition monitoring, built on top of the habits your diesel service team already practises every week.
